1.     Where does the Advocate come from, and what is the Advocate’s role? (v 15:26)

2.     What is the relationship between the Spirit and the disciples? (v 15:27)

3.     Why did Jesus tell his disciples about the Spirit of truth? (v 16:1-4)

4.     What will the Spirit do when He comes? (16:8-11)

5.     The Spirit is known as the Spirit of truth. What is the truth? (v 16:12-15)

Read Acts 1:1-11

1.     What did Jesus do after His resurrection? (V 1-3)

2.     What was Jesus’ commandment to the disciples? (v 4-5)

3.     What do the disciples understand about the purpose of Jesus’ time on earth? Compare this with Jesus’ response (v 6-8)

4.     Is the work of telling others about Jesus given only to the disciples?

5.     What is the hope that is given to us?
